Niegocin lake – area: 26.4 sq. km, length: 10.08 km, width: 4.8 km, depth: 39.7 m. The Luczanski canal – length: 2.1 km, connects Niegocin lake with Kisajno lake (Mamry). On the canal there is an open rotary bridge – the only one in Europe. Kisajno lake – area: 20.2 sq. km, length: 8.5 km, width: 3 km, depth 25 m. It covers the southern part of the Mamry lakes complex, it is connected with Niegocin lake by the Luczanski and Niegocinski canals. In the southern part of the lake – numerous islands, mostly covered with forests: Duzy Ostrow, Sosnowy Ostrow, Gorny Ostrow, Wielka Kiermuza, Debowa Gorka, and others. Altogether, they cover 123 ha. Around the lake one can spot unique species of birds: grebes, coots, mud harriers or mute swans and black storks. Around the islands the “ZEGLUGA MAZURSKA” has its picturesque route, called the “Swan’s Route”. Dargin lake – area: 30.3 sq. km, length: 10.1 km, width: 5.6 km, depth 37.6 m. The lake covers the central part of the Mamry lakes complex. The opposite peninsulas, Kirsajty peninsula (a former island) being one of them, separate it from Kirsajty lake, situated to the north. In the sourthern part of the lake – two islands called Poganckie Kepy (Poganckie Clumps). Kirsajty lake – area: 2.1 sq. km, length: 1.9 km, depth 5.8 m. It covers the central narrowing of the Mamry lakes complex. Mamry lake – area: 25.6 sq. km, length: 7.6 km, width: 5.2 km, depth 43.8 m. On the lake there is the biggest island in the Great Mazurian Lakes Land – Upalty. It has the area of 67 ha, covered with 200 year-old trees: oaks, beeches, maples, poplars and limes. In the north-eastern part of the lake, near the village of Przystan, one can find an outlet of the Mazurski Canal (no longer used).
